Most of us think of pocket watches as outdated and obsolete. Because of the advent of modern wristwatches and classy timepieces, the popularity of pocket watches has definitely died down. The convenience of wristwatches has made the pocket watch obsolete. To me, pocket watches symbolize the glorious old days. Plus, they are cheaper as compared to modern day hi tech wristwatches. I wanted to gift a classic pocket watch to my grandfather on his 75^th birthday. I knew it would make him very happy. He anyways has a fetish for everything ‘old’. He values and treasures old clothes, old books, old accessories and everything that belongs to ‘his’ era. I wanted to delight him with the best gift ever! I wanted to make his 75^th birthday a special affair. An affair to remember! I looked up the Web for pocket watches, and I somehow stumbled upon a cool website. They had the ultimate collection of watches- from luxury watches to pocket watches, from sports watches to designer watches, they had it all! I am really thankful to them for helping me pick the perfect watch for my grandfather.
